Peter “Sleazy” Christopherson, 1955-2010

Peter Christopherson, died peacefully in his sleep on 2010-11-24, aged 55. Affectionately known as “Sleazy”, he was a founding member of industrial music pioneers Throbbing Gristle, a founding member of Psychic TV and a founding member of one of my favourite bands, Coil. He was also an incredibly inventive graphic artist, responsible for some of the most recognized album covers (like Pink Floyd’s _Wish You Were Here_) and some truly amazing music videos. I can’t even begin to describe how influential he was.

Farewell, Peter. You are already sadly missed.
